More than 200 women joined the inaugural Made For Her event featuring yoga, Pilates, sound healing and health screenings in Abu Dhabi.
More than 200 women gathered at Yas Marina Circuit for the launch of Made For Her, a new wellness initiative aimed at promoting movement, mindfulness and preventative healthcare for women.
Organised by the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre in partnership with NMC Healthcare, the event took place on 6 May as part of the popular TrainYAS community fitness programme.
Designed as a dedicated wellness space for women, the initiative focused on both physical and mental wellbeing through a series of guided fitness and recovery sessions. The evening programme included Mat Pilates by Wanna Pilates, Vinyasa Yoga led by Thrive with Lindsey and a Sound Healing and Breathwork session conducted by Dr. Shatha Al Ghazali.
Participants also received complimentary health screenings and personalised wellness consultations from medical professionals at NMC Royal Hospital Abu Dhabi, reinforcing the initiative’s focus on preventative care and long-term health awareness.
Attendees highlighted the positive impact of the event, with several participants describing the sessions as motivating and emotionally uplifting as they worked towards improving their health and wellness routines.
Frank Delisi said the collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing women’s health through community engagement, education and accessible wellbeing initiatives.
He added that combining holistic fitness experiences with medical consultations and screenings allows women to better understand and manage their overall health at different stages of life.
The inaugural edition of Made For Her forms part of wider efforts by Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre and NMC Healthcare to encourage healthier lifestyles and strengthen community wellbeing initiatives across the emirate.
