New Italian furniture collection showcases sculptural dining pieces, modular living concepts and contemporary luxury inspired by Milan Design Week.
Western Furniture has introduced the latest 2026 collection from Italian design house Calligaris to the UAE market, following the collection’s debut at the internationally acclaimed Salone del Mobile 2026.
The new collection reflects Calligaris’ signature approach to combining contemporary Italian craftsmanship with practical everyday living, presenting a range of living and dining concepts designed to bring both comfort and visual sophistication into modern homes.
Among the standout launches is the Glen Soft system, developed through a collaboration between Calligaris and Italian fashion label Twinset. Inspired by bohemian textures and fluid movement, the design incorporates bespoke fabrics influenced by Twinset’s knitwear heritage, creating a softer and more tactile interpretation of modular seating.
Another key highlight is the Sierra Sofa, designed as a flexible living-room centrepiece that prioritises comfort and adaptability. Featuring generous seating, soft down-filled cushions and modular configurations, the sofa can be customised as a straight unit, corner arrangement or chaise longue setup depending on the space.
Complementing the Sierra are the Bambù and Ribbon side tables, which introduce contrasting yet harmonious forms intended to enhance contemporary living environments.
The dining collection places emphasis on sculptural detailing and premium materials. The Cameo Table features a Cannettato-inspired base paired with a Travertino tabletop, accompanied by a coordinating sideboard and the Oleandro Chairs, now available in a new Pearl Beige metal finish.
Also featured in the collection is the Nogu Table, a statement piece combining geometric architectural forms with glass and ceramic surfaces to create a bold focal point for dining spaces.
The showcase reflects wider global interior trends seen at Milan Design Week this year, where tactile materials, softer silhouettes and multifunctional living concepts dominated furniture collections across leading European brands.
The new Calligaris 2026 collection is now available across Western Furniture UAE showrooms in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
