Film music fans are set for one of the biggest live entertainment events of the year as Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning composer Hans Zimmer brings his acclaimed ‘The Next Level’ tour to Abu Dhabi this November.
The one-night performance will take place on 13 November 2026 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island as part of the 23rd Abu Dhabi Festival. Presented by Proactiv Entertainment and Ethara, in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, the concert promises an immersive arena experience that combines orchestral music, electronic soundscapes, dramatic lighting and large-scale stage production.
Zimmer will perform alongside his 19-piece band, reimagining some of the most recognisable film scores in modern cinema. Audiences can expect music from acclaimed productions including The Lion King, Gladiator, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Last Samurai, Interstellar and Dune: Part One.
Over the past decade, Hans Zimmer Live has evolved into one of the world’s most celebrated concert productions, attracting sold-out audiences across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. Rather than a traditional orchestral performance, the show blends live musicianship with cutting-edge production to recreate the emotional impact of Zimmer’s cinematic compositions in a concert setting.
For many film enthusiasts, Zimmer’s work has become synonymous with some of Hollywood’s most memorable moments. His distinctive style, which fuses sweeping orchestral arrangements with electronic elements, has helped redefine contemporary film scoring and earned him international acclaim.
Doors at Etihad Arena will open at 6:30 pm, with the performance beginning at 8:30 pm.
