From community clothing swaps and panel discussions to AI-driven design challenges, Fashion Revolution UAE returns with a week of collective action and conscious creativity across Dubai.
Fashion is often spoken about in terms of trends—but at its core, it is also a system shaped by choices, consumption, and consequence. This April, Fashion Revolution UAE returns with its Fashion Revolution Week 2026 programme, taking place across Dubai from 22 to 28 April under the global theme Collective Action.
The week brings together designers, educators, students, creators and the wider public through a mix of talks, workshops, community gatherings and digital experiences. The aim is not just to discuss the future of fashion, but to actively participate in shaping it—through collaboration, awareness and shared responsibility.
At a time when climate pressures, resource concerns and consumption patterns are under increasing scrutiny, the programme positions fashion as part of a much wider conversation—one that connects environment, behaviour, technology and community.
A week built around collective action and shared responsibility
Fashion Revolution Week 2026 is structured as a series of daily engagements, each focusing on a different aspect of the fashion ecosystem—from digital influence and consumer behaviour to repair culture and sustainable design innovation.
A key highlight of the programme is Dress to Fly, a design competition challenging participants to reimagine airline uniforms for the GCC through a more sustainable and forward-thinking lens. The initiative blends traditional design thinking with digital tools and AI-assisted ideation through collaboration with The F Word, a niche AI fashion platform supporting creative development while keeping sustainability and human creativity at the centre. The competition will conclude with a virtual finale on the closing day of the week.

Fashion Revolution Week 2026 in the UAE is designed as more than a calendar of events—it is a platform for participation. By bringing together community voices, industry practitioners and creative thinkers, the programme reflects a growing shift in the region: from passive consumption to active engagement.
As part of a global movement advocating for a cleaner, safer and more transparent fashion industry, the UAE edition continues to localise the conversation—grounding it in community, creativity and collective action.
