Egypt’s North Coast Sees Luxury Expansion with Three New Waterfront Communities

Developer SODIC launches OGAMI, June and Caesar, introducing branded residences, beachfront living and hospitality concepts along the Mediterranean.

Egypt’s North Coast continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the region’s fastest-growing luxury leisure and residential destinations, with developer SODIC unveiling three new waterfront communities designed to cater to a range of lifestyle preferences.

The projects—OGAMI, June and Caesar—are located along Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline and form part of the company’s growing portfolio of upscale coastal developments.

Three distinct communities

Each destination has been designed with a different character, offering buyers a choice of luxury living experiences.

OGAMI focuses on wellness, nature and high-end hospitality. Inspired by Japan’s Ogami Island, the development combines Mediterranean and Japanese architectural influences and will feature more than 120,000 square metres of swimmable lagoons, landscaped public spaces and a mix of townhouses, villas and larger residences.

A key attraction is its partnership with Nobu Hospitality, which will bring a Nobu hotel, branded residences, restaurant and beach club to the community.

Meanwhile, June offers a more energetic atmosphere inspired by Miami’s beachfront lifestyle. Planned around a lively waterfront promenade, the development will include cafés, restaurants, retail outlets, sports facilities, swimmable lagoons and infinity pools. A Marriott International Tribute Portfolio hotel is also planned as part of the project.

Residences at June are expected to start from around US$380,000.

For those seeking a quieter coastal setting, Caesar has been designed around 1.2 kilometres of private Mediterranean beachfront. The community will feature fully finished villas and townhouses, complemented by beachside dining, wellness facilities, boutique retail outlets and a clubhouse for residents. Prices are expected to start from approximately US$710,000.

Growing appeal of Egypt’s Mediterranean coast

Egypt’s North Coast has seen significant investment in recent years as developers transform what was once a seasonal holiday destination into a year-round lifestyle and residential hub. Improved infrastructure, expanding hospitality offerings and the growth of nearby New Alamein have further increased the region’s appeal among both domestic and international buyers.

SODIC says buyers across all three projects will be offered flexible payment plans, including a 5% down payment and instalments extending for up to eight years.

As interest in waterfront living continues to grow across the Middle East, developments such as OGAMI, June and Caesar reflect the increasing demand for integrated coastal communities that combine luxury homes with hospitality, leisure and wellness experiences.
