Moroccan-Belgian artist brings music, fashion and football together in a regional campaign celebrating authenticity and self-expression.
PUMA Middle East has unveiled the latest chapter of its global Never Not Suede campaign, partnering for the first time with Moroccan-Belgian music sensation DYSTINCT to celebrate individuality, creativity and cultural identity.
The campaign puts one of the brand’s most iconic sneakers, the PUMA Suede, in the spotlight through the lens of an artist whose career has been built on blending cultures, languages and musical influences. By drawing inspiration from his Moroccan heritage and international success, DYSTINCT reflects the values that have defined the Suede since its debut in 1968: authenticity, confidence and self-expression.
Rather than focusing solely on fashion, the campaign explores three defining aspects of DYSTINCT’s identity: music, style and sport. Each is paired with one of the latest Suede colourways, creating immersive visual worlds that tell the story behind the artist.
The first chapter, centred on music, features a nostalgic studio-inspired setting filled with vinyl records, towering speakers and references to DYSTINCT’s creative journey. The classic black Suede represents the soundtrack of his life and the cultural influences behind his distinctive sound.
Fashion takes centre stage in the second world, where Moroccan street culture meets contemporary design. Rich textures, traditional patterns and regional influences provide the backdrop for the coffee brown Suede, highlighting how DYSTINCT expresses his heritage through personal style.

The final chapter celebrates his lifelong passion for football. Inspired by Moroccan football culture, the scene is filled with jerseys, trophies, flags and memorabilia, while the bold orange Suede reflects energy, ambition and a willingness to stand apart.
The campaign arrives as the PUMA Suede continues to evolve more than five decades after its introduction. Originally launched in 1968, the sneaker has transcended sport to become a cultural icon embraced by musicians, skaters, dancers, artists and creative communities around the world.
Jonathan Bannister, Head of Marketing at PUMA Middle East, said the collaboration marks an important milestone for the brand in the region.
“DYSTINCT has built his own legacy by bringing together different cultures, languages and creative influences while staying true to himself and his origins. That authenticity made him the right partner for this campaign.”
Beyond DYSTINCT’s story, PUMA Middle East is also shining a light on the wider creative community through a series of social films featuring dancers, DJs, skateboarders, graffiti artists and fashion creatives from across the Middle East. Each shares a personal perspective on creativity, individuality and the role the Suede has played in their own journey.
With its latest campaign, PUMA positions the Suede as more than just a sneaker. It is presented as a symbol of self-expression for a new generation of creatives who continue to redefine culture on their own terms.
