Dubai is inviting residents to play a bigger role in promoting the city through a new initiative that rewards them for introducing family and friends to the emirate.
Launched by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), ‘A Dubai Invite’ encourages residents to register visiting loved ones and, in return, unlock a range of exclusive benefits across hotels, attractions, restaurants and lifestyle experiences. The programme runs until 31 October 2026, while rewards can be redeemed through 31 December 2026.
The initiative recognises the role residents play in shaping visitors’ experiences. With nearly 200 nationalities calling Dubai home, many residents regularly host relatives and friends, often serving as their first guides to the city’s attractions, dining scene and cultural experiences.
Eligible participants can access discounts of up to 45% on hotel stays at selected properties, including W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina, Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Waterpark, Meliá Desert Palm and ME Dubai by Meliá, along with participating IHG Hotels & Resorts across the city.
The programme also includes offers at several of Dubai’s leading attractions, such as Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure and Grand Hyatt Waterpark, as well as dining privileges at restaurants including Asia Asia, Ula, Papas, The 305, and Lock, Stock & Barrel.

Residents will also receive benefits through Careem, including complimentary Careem Plus membership and transport rebates on Hala Taxi and selected services.
According to DET, the initiative reflects the growing influence of personal recommendations in travel planning, with residents often acting as the city’s most trusted ambassadors. It also supports Dubai’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading destination to visit, live and work while aligning with the UAE’s Year of Family.
Residents hosting visitors arriving between 20 July and 31 October 2026 must register their guests through the official programme platform by 30 September 2026. Visitor arrivals will be verified through the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA – Dubai), after which eligible residents will receive access to participating offers.
Each resident can unlock up to three verified benefits during the campaign period, with one reward available for each visiting guest party.
The initiative adds another dimension to Dubai’s tourism strategy by recognising residents not only as members of the community but also as ambassadors whose personal connections help shape how visitors experience the city. Those welcoming family and friends this summer and autumn can now enjoy additional incentives while sharing everything the emirate has to offer.
