Dubai to Host UAE Leg of Asia’s First Premium Padel Tournament Series

Tatler, Standard Chartered and Club Med launch six-month regional competition, with Dubai the only Middle East stop on the 2026 calendar.

Dubai is set to become the Middle East’s sole host city for a new international padel competition after Tatler announced the launch of the Tatler Padel Series 2026, described as Asia’s first premium padel tournament.

The six-month series will travel across seven cities in Asia and the Middle East, culminating in a regional final in November 2026. Dubai will represent the only Middle Eastern destination on the tour, highlighting the emirate’s growing reputation as one of the world’s fastest-rising padel hubs.

Organised by Tatler Asia and supported by Standard Chartered as presenting sponsor and Club Med as official lifestyle partner, the series is expected to attract more than 2,000 participants across eight events.

Padel has experienced remarkable growth in the UAE in recent years, with new clubs, courts and tournaments emerging across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The inclusion of Dubai in the series reflects the sport’s increasing popularity among professionals, entrepreneurs and lifestyle-conscious consumers seeking a combination of fitness, competition and networking.

According to organisers, the tournament will blend elite-level competition with premium lifestyle experiences. Participants can compete in Bronze, Silver and Gold divisions, while a Celebrity Pro-Am format will pair well-known personalities with professional players in exhibition matches.

Beyond the action on court, the event will feature networking opportunities, curated food and beverage experiences, wellness activations and recovery zones designed for high-performance lifestyles.

The 2026 series will begin in Bali in July before moving to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dubai. Winners and runners-up from the various divisions will qualify for the regional final scheduled for November.

For partners such as Standard Chartered and Club Med, the tournament represents a growing trend in luxury lifestyle marketing, where wellness, sport and social connection are increasingly intertwined with affluent consumer experiences.

As Dubai continues to position itself as a global destination for sports tourism and wellness-driven events, the arrival of the Tatler Padel Series adds another high-profile fixture to the city’s expanding sporting calendar.

The Dubai event is scheduled to take place in October 2026, with the venue yet to be announced. Those interested in participating can register their interest through the official Tatler Padel Series website.
