Chef’s Society debuts at City Centre Mirdif with four chef-led restaurant concepts

Dubai: A new dining destination spotlighting some of the UAE’s best-known chefs has opened at City Centre Mirdif, bringing together acclaimed homegrown restaurant concepts under one roof.

Chef’s Society, developed by Majid Al Futtaim, aims to redefine the mall dining experience by creating a chef-led culinary hub that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and locally inspired concepts. The destination has opened with four restaurants, with additional concepts set to join ahead of its full launch later this year.

The first lineup features Bait Maryam, the award-winning Levantine restaurant by Chef Salam Daqqaq; Bonci, serving Roman-style pizza al taglio from renowned Italian pizzaiolo Gabriele Bonci; ATHAR By the Qlab, the contemporary all-day dining concept by Chef Nabhan Al Ali; and REIF Japanese Kushiyaki, the Japanese-inspired restaurant from acclaimed Dubai chef Reif Othman.

Designed as more than a traditional food court, Chef’s Society brings together independent culinary brands in a shared space focused on quality, innovation and distinctive dining experiences. The concept reflects the growing popularity of chef-driven restaurants and the increasing demand for homegrown culinary talent across the UAE.

Located within City Centre Mirdif, the destination offers visitors an opportunity to experience a diverse range of cuisines, from Levantine comfort food and authentic Roman pizza to contemporary Middle Eastern dining and Japanese flavours.

Majid Al Futtaim said Chef’s Society will continue expanding over the coming months, introducing additional restaurant concepts before the destination’s official launch later this year.

As Dubai’s dining scene continues to evolve, Chef’s Society adds another platform for celebrated chefs and independent brands to connect with diners, while reinforcing the city’s reputation as one of the region’s leading culinary destinations.
